My First Indoor Grow With LED Lights

I am a novice grower, I started last year just doing outdoor autoflowering plants but I seriously got the bug and decided (after campo bugged me for a couple of months) to turn my shed into a grow room, it’s only small 1.3m x1.5m and 1.5m high so only a micro grow using 1sqm.

Campo has lent me an LED light, one of the smallest I think they do with a 135 watt draw and about 120 watt output which covers about 60cm x 60cm with 6 spectrums of light, I have to say it looks really cool and to top it all off he has given me a lovely plant ready for the flowering stage.

So first off as I live in Spain in the middle of a desert so it is warm in the day and cool in the night, as it is just a tin shed the first thing to do (after emptying all the junk and giving it a good clean) is to line it out with 30mm polystyrene covering every surface to insulate and to help with light pollution, I then hung a chain right across for the light to hang from. Also I added a small kitchen extractor fan and drilled some holes in the bottom of the door for air flow, the only thing I need to do now is line it with black and white which will reflect the unused light back to the plant.

This was done about 3 weeks ago and the plant is starting to flower nicely maybe only another 5 weeks or so to go then I will be moving on to a hydroponics DWC system which I intend to make myself stay posted and I will let you know how I get on.

Please note that the growing of cannabis is not always legal and you should check your local laws. If its not legal – what are you doing about that?
